We last talked about Cre-Edibles last month, when we interviewed their founder Aryn Sieber, a cancer survivor, cannabis advocate, and entrepreneur.
Because Aryn was kind enough to bring along samples, I suggested that we write up a little trip report about the edible’s effects.
I got to try out a Golden Harvest Oatmeal Toffee Raisin Bar, and began my journey one evening around 8 p.m. And here’s what happened.
This pastry’s taste is heavenly, making me think of apple pie, Girl Scout cookies (the actual cookies, not the strain), and cannabis.
It’s always a joy to eat medicated edibles that taste like marijuana, but not too much. And the Oatmeal Toffee Raisin Bar passed the test.
I started small, with just half of the bar, to gauge its effects before they overwhelmed me.
And it worked. A pleasant high, totally free of paranoia, crept over me, coming on slowly. To me, it felt both cerebral and full-body, both extremely gentle.
Best Things to Do During the High
Frankly, this is a great edible to eat before doing something super chill and enjoyable, like getting a massage, taking a long, relaxing walk, or going to a movie. Alternately, if you’re in a productive mood, you’ll enjoy reading a book or doing some writing.
